The long-term health of vegetarians and vegans

A review paper on ““The long-term health of vegetarians and vegans”” written by OxVeg members Paul Appleby and Timothy Key and published in the Proceedings of the Nutrition Society was chosen as the Nutrition Society’’s paper of the month for February 2016. A blog post publicising the paper and summarising its findings appeared in the Cambridge Journals blog at http://blog.journals.cambridge.org/2016/02/15/veggie-might-the-long-term-health-benefits-of-being-a-vegetarian/
and a version for lay readers has since been posted on the Vegetarian for Life blog at http://vegetarianforlife.org.uk/blog/ .

The paper was published ‘open access’, which means that it is freely available for a limited time. To read and/or download the paper go to http://journals.cambridge.org/ns/feb16 .
