Eden Cafe reopening soon

Readers in the Witney area may be familiar with the Eden Café, a mobile vegetarian catering van that was a regular visitor to the town’s market place. The good news is that the Cafe is soon to reopen in premises in Wesley Way (near to Beanbag, Witney’s independent health food store). Rebecca Hinds of the Eden Cafe writes:

“The Eden Cafe is moving into Chomsky’s shop. We don’t yet have a firm date for opening as it depends on how long the refurbishment takes, but we are hoping to move in by the end of November. We will be focussing on getting the shop up and running smoothly in the next few months so we’re not really promoting the catering side of things until we are established. There is a local group Meet & Veg Witney (www.facebook.com/MeetAndVegWitney) that meet once a month (on the 1st Monday of the month) for an informal ‘bring and share’ and a chat. It would be great to have a combined get together with OxVeg some time.”

You can follow developments on the Cafe’s Facebook (www.facebook.com/EdenCafeVeg) and Twitter (www.twitter.com/EdenCafe_Veg) pages. Eden Cafe features a lot of vegan and gluten-free items and, since vegetarian eating places in Oxfordshire are few and far between, it is well worth supporting.
